1.- Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Service Provision (hereinafter, General Conditions) apply to all orders placed with Traductor Jurado Murcia through its legal entity Royal Elba SL by the Client and constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and Royal Elba SL regarding the provision of translation and apostille services.

In the event that the parties expressly agree to work under specific terms and conditions, the provisions of such Specific Conditions shall prevail over any conflicting provisions in these General Conditions, while the remaining provisions shall remain unchanged. The possible invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

The Client’s own general conditions shall only apply after express written acceptance by Royal Elba SL.

From the moment the quote is accepted, the Client shall be deemed to accept these General Conditions without the need for further confirmation, unless they are modified within the established period. In such case, the General Conditions will be provided again to the Client for acceptance.

The use of the web platform provided by Royal Elba SL and the submission of Original Material by the Client imply acceptance of all General Conditions.

2.- Definitions

– Traductor Jurado en Murcia: refers to the brand of the website www.traductorjuradoenmurcia.es, a translation company managed by Royal Elba SL.

– Royal Elba SL: refers to any of the brands of Royal Elba SL, as well as its internal employees and authorized external collaborators.

– Client: refers to the person, company, organisation, etc., that commissions or pays for the work, or the authorised representative of such entity.

– Sworn translation: refers to the translation and certification carried out by a sworn translator certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC) or the corresponding authority. The sworn translation is carried out by a single professional sworn translator and includes self-review. It does not include revision by a different translator.

– Translation: refers to transferring a message from a Source Language into an equivalent message in a Target Language in accordance with professional standards.

– Sworn translator: refers to the professional (employee or external collaborator) responsible for carrying out sworn translations, certified by the MAEC or relevant authority.

– Source Language: the language in which the Original Material is written.

– Target Language: the language into which the Original Material is translated.

– Original Material: documents and materials provided by the Client for translation.

– Final Material: the final translated and certified version.

– Urgent: refers to orders explicitly marked as urgent delivery.

3.- Quotes

The quote provided by Royal Elba is free and non-binding.

The Client must provide all necessary information to prepare the quote correctly (source language, target language, document type, number of copies, etc.).

The quote includes:

• Sworn translation service including certification, signature and official stamp;
• Document type;
• Language combination;
• Number of copies;
• Total cost;
• Discounts, taxes and fees (IGIC included unless otherwise stated);
• Estimated delivery date.

4.- Prices and rates

Unless otherwise specified, prices include taxes but exclude shipping costs.

Royal Elba will provide services according to the quote.

Promotions cannot be combined.

Quotes are only valid at the time issued and are not binding unless explicitly stated.

Royal Elba reserves the right to modify prices or deadlines and will inform the Client beforehand.

5.- Order

Orders are confirmed upon acceptance of the quote and full advance payment.

Delivery deadlines are approximate and depend on timely payment.

Royal Elba may refuse to start work until full payment is received.

If an error occurs in the quote, the Client will be informed and refunded if already paid.

6.- Service provision

The Client guarantees ownership or rights to use the Original Material.

The service includes translation, sworn translation, apostille and delivery.

The order is completed once delivered signed and certified.

Only paper versions are legally valid in Spain.

7.- Delivery times

Delivery times are approximate.

If delays occur, a new deadline will be agreed.

Royal Elba is not responsible for force majeure or courier delays.

Shipping services are outsourced and responsibility lies with the courier.

Deliveries require correct address and recipient availability.

8.- Order modification/cancellation

Changes must be requested in writing and may incur additional costs.

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.

9.- Service quality

Royal Elba guarantees professional quality and accuracy.

The Client is responsible for the quality of the original text.

10.- Claims

Claims must be submitted within 30 days.

If justified, corrections will be made free of charge.

11.- Translation errors

Errors include serious grammar mistakes, omissions and incorrect meanings.

Not considered errors: style, ambiguity, or subjective preferences.

12.- Liability limits

Royal Elba is not responsible for third-party acceptance of translations.

Liability is limited to the amount paid.

13.- Payment terms

The Client is responsible for payment.

Payment is made in advance unless agreed otherwise.

Invoices are issued electronically.

14.- Ownership and usage rights

Rights remain with Royal Elba until full payment is made.

15.- Confidentiality

Royal Elba guarantees confidentiality of all information.

16.- Data protection

Personal data will be processed according to GDPR and Spanish law.

17.- Modifications

Royal Elba may modify these conditions at any time.
